More information will be posted regarding this soon
Due to recent events, the GIOA Board has concluded it is in the best interest of our members to cancel the annual conference next week. We are working with the Park MGM to possibly reschedule the conference this fall. GIOA has made a large financial commitment to the Park MGM and is negotiating the ramifications of canceling the conference next week and rescheduling at a later date. In regard to conference registration, it is the GIOA Board’s plan to credit registrations, sponsorships, and exhibitor fees paid to the next conference. If holding the conference in the fall is not possible, we will consider offering the conference content via webinars over the next few months.
If you’ve made Park MGM reservations through the conference block, those Park MGM hotel room reservations will be canceled by Park MGM. We suggest you confirm that with the hotel (702-730-7777).
The GIOA Board apologizes for having to cancel the conference next week, but feel this is most prudent action at this time. We appreciate the members’ and sponsor’s support of this valuable non-profit organization, over the many years. We look forward to continuing to provide relevant educational programs and content to GIOA’s membership.
We understand you may have questions, please give us a few days to confirm details with Park MGM. We will be sending updates as soon as it is available.
